About Troy
Troy Grabow brings over 25 years of government, law firm, and in-house counsel experience in intellectual property law to his role as Of Counsel at the Tobi Law Group. Troy has extensive experience in acquiring, licensing, and litigating intellectual property throughout the world.
Troy started his IP career as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and then served as a law clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit for the Honorable Timothy B. Dyk upon graduation. He is a registered U.S. patent attorney. He was an associate and partner at Finnegan Henderson in Washington, DC, with an emphasis on patent litigation, prosecution, and counseling, before moving to the west coast for in-house positions as GC and VP of IP at Cabeau in Woodland Hills and as AGC of IP & Product at PAX Labs in San Francisco.
Troy earned his J.D. with high honors from George Washington University Law School and his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Union College in Schenectady, NY. Troy is engaged in numerous local and national bar associations, including the American Intellectual Property Law Association where he has served in numerous leadership roles including on the Board of Directors. In addition to serving as Of Counsel to Tobi Law Group, Troy separately serves as founder and principal of Grabow Law, an IP counseling firm.
